See what some of our patients say about their treatment experience with the ISSI surgeons and staff.

brunette woman

I am very pleased with the service of Doctor Katzman and his colleagues for a wonderful experience. I had been suffering for numerous years from my tailbone and sciatica pain which included numerous infections and visits for pain management medication which had no long lasting effect. My pain management also included numerous epidurals that would help for a very short time. I had come to a dead-end. I always continued looking for a permanent solution to my back pain. Finding the orthopedic laser surgery group and Dr. Katzman was the answer to my prayer. From first contact they were very courteous, concerned and helpful. The staff was very professional and I was taken care of with professionalism and concern. Everything was explained to me before and after my procedure and what to expect, so I was put very much at ease.

Common Conditions We Treat

Back and neck pain can be a debilitating, dehumanizing experience. It can make even the simplest of tasks feel impossible. Whether your condition is due to normal wear and tear, injury, or genetics, the team at ISSI can diagnose and treat your spine condition.

Minimally invasive spine surgery can help you find relief quickly, with little trauma to the body and a faster recovery than traditional open back surgery. Our board-certified surgeons treat a variety of conditions including:

Sciatica

Sciatica is described as the painful symptoms associated with compression or irritation of the sciatic nerve.

Spinal Stenosis

Spinal stenosis occurs when the space in the spinal canal where the spinal cord lives narrows, resulting in pressure on or pinching of nearby nerves.

Herniated Disc

A herniated disc occurs when the soft inner layer of a spinal disc protrudes through the tough outer layer.

Bulging Disc

A bulging disc occurs when the tough exterior portion a spinal disc is compressed and extends beyond the edge of the vertebrae, affecting a nerve.

Lower Back Pain

Typically developing from overuse or another medical condition, lower back pain is a common symptom for a range of spine conditions.

Pinched Nerve

Too much pressure on a nerve, often referred to as a "pinch", can lead to pain and an interference in function.
